Chewable UFO shaped pinata toy.

This UFO Chewable Foraging Parrot Toy is perfect for letting your Parrot indulge in some foraging and shredding fun. Inside each half you can place some favourite foods, tasty treats and most treasured materials. Then securely fasten it using the quick link provided to your Parrot’s cage or play gym stand and watch nature take over. If your feathered friend is new to foraging toys, then let them watch you place the goodies inside. All the fun is in trying to retrieve them, either by chewing through the paper and cardboard, or manipulating the parts to gain access from the sides. Foraging opportunities play a vital role in keeping your clever bird mentally stimulated and free from boredom. Birds would naturally spend many hours searching for, finding and retrieving their food. When they have free access to food from a bowl, they end up with more time in the day to become bored which can result in unwanted behaviours. Plus, it promotes them to keep active through play. Attached to the UFO Pinata are small wood beads and stars, knotted on with colourful paper rope, proving even more materials to shred and chew. Start your bird’s foraging adventure with this UFO Pinata Chewable Foraging Parrot Toy.

Toy Safety

Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.

The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.

It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.

For further information on Parrot toys and safety please read Liz Wilson's article on Parrot Toys – The Importance of Play.
